technologies on ca-bhargava.com (the “Site”). It should be read together
with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website.
“Local storage” is a related technology that lets a site remember settings
in your browser. Both are used here only to the limited extent described
below.

Our approach

We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal. The Site does not use
advertising cookies, and does not run third-party analytics, tracking,
or social-media profiling technologies.

Cookies and storage we use

• Strictly necessary — administrative session. A single session cookie
  (bsab_session) is set only when an authorised administrator logs in
  to the private content console at /bsab. It keeps that session secure
  and signed in. It is not set for ordinary visitors to the public Site.
• Functional — theme preference. Your light/dark appearance choice is
  remembered using your browser’s local storage so the Site displays in your
  preferred theme on your next visit. This stays on your device and is not
  transmitted to us.
• Technical — security and delivery. Standard server and infrastructure
  logs (which may involve short-lived technical cookies from our hosting and
  security providers) help keep the Site available and protected against
  abuse.

Managing cookies

Because we use only strictly necessary and functional storage, no consent
banner is required for advertising or tracking. You can nonetheless control
or delete cookies and local storage at any time through your browser
settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the administrative
console from working, but will not affect your use of the public Site.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we
use or in applicable law. The current version is always the one published on
this page, identified by the effective date above.
